3DReviewer cannot be launched

Hello,
I installed the trial version of Terra4D Converter and Reviewer. Converter in Acrobat is working. But the Reviewer does not start, only a window pops up “The entry point of the procedure ??TfJsComputerNameHelper@@QEAA@PEBVTfSerializationHelper@@@Z … not found”. Anyone have any idea what’s wrong?

(Windows in Czech language, as seen in the picture)

Thank you all

Hello ryparv,

To use Tetra4D Reviewer, you must install Tetra4D Converter first.
Did you install Reviewer from the same email as Converter ? Is your Acrobat Pro version 2020 as in the error pop-up ?

We advise you to reinstall both Converter and Reviewer just in case.

Yes, I installed Tetra4D Converter first.
Yes, I downloaded Converter and Reviewer from the links that came in one email.
Acrobat does not show any error pop-ups.
I have reinstalled several times, tried other computers. Same error on all of them (Windows 11 / 10, Pro / Home.)

Hello ryparv,

Thank you for the details.

This error message seems to be a Windows generic one. You may be missing redistributable components to run some software.

Please download and install official “Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013 for Windows x64” :

Please let us know if this resolves the issue. You may want to reinstall Tetra4D Reviewer afterwards just in case.

Thank you for your reply.Unfortunately, even after installing Visual Studio 2013 for Windows x64, nothing has changed.

Hello,

Please try the following steps. Use the built-in System File Checker tool (SFC.exe) to determine which file is causing the issue, and then replace the file. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Open an elevated command prompt. open Windows Menu, search command prompt and right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator.
  2. Type the command sfc /scannow and valdiate. The sfc /scannow command scans all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with correct Microsoft versions. This scan make take a while to complete.

See this tutorial video if you are not sure how to proceed.

Please let us know if this resolves your issue.

Have a good day,
After sfc /scannow and restarting the computer nothing changed.
As I wrote, I tested Terra4d Reviewer on several computers with different operating systems, so it would be a big coincidence if there were similarly corrupted files everywhere.
If I’m the only one with these problems, the problem could be that all my computers run in Czech language operating system.
