2 of Tetra4D user feedback that, Tetra4D shut down when they open a big file, since Nov 2024.
The pc is ThinkPad X13, IT said due to an issue related to AMD Graphics card.
What do you consider a big file in this case ? What is its size ?
Can you open it in its native CAD software and confirm that the file is valid ?
If the IT mention the GPU, can you verify that the pilots are up to date ?
Please make sure that hardware rendering is activated in Acrobat ? And that the DirectX 9 renderer is selected for better performances.
Our lT support repaired the issue by update AMD Graphics card driver.
By the way, for the question feedback as following:
What do you consider a big file in this case ? What is its size ?
→ NOK files size >=600MB, OK files size<600MB —> OK now
Can you open it in its native CAD software and confirm that the file is valid ?
->The files(no matter >=600MB or <600MB, prt or stp format) could be opened in CATIA, are valid .
If the IT mention the GPU, can you verify that the pilots are up to date ?
->it was not updated, → now updated.
Please make sure that hardware rendering is activated in Acrobat ? And that the DirectX 9 renderer is selected for better performances.
